We are always busy and we still seem to keep trying to do more. When we are always on the go we are building up stress hormones. The primary stress hormone is Cortisol. In order to keep us functioning it shuts of functions it sees as non essential such as your digestive system. Cortisol uses allot of energy and what goes up must come down. Prolonged expose can cause symptoms of anxiety and depression and effect you physically including weakening your immune system.
So do yourself a favour make sure you rest around being busy and allow your body to reset.
