Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioural psychotherapy works on the belief that our minds are similar to computers and that we can change our program. It focuses on behaviours, thoughts, emotions and physicality. It can help you understand that you are potentially repeating patterns that are actually keeping you trapped experiencing, depression, anxiety and trauma. CBT works on breaking the old patterns, addressing unhelpful beliefs and changing them to improve your mental health

Cognitive Psychotherapy can help with many things but including depression and anxiety, including generalised anxiety , obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), body dysmorphia , post traumatic stress disorder ( PTSD) and trauma. It can also address relationship issues sleep concerns and behaviours that may be concerning or impacting your life. It is an approach supported by numerous research studies and by the National Health Service (NHS). You can learn to problem solve areas of your life that may be affecting your mental health long after therapy finishes.

My role as a Psychotherapist is to encourage you with a compassionate approach to address areas that concern you, learn your triggers, find strategies to change your life and build a bridge back to your unique self.

CBT Groups
Groups can be ideal for therapy as they allow recognition of the fact that we are not alone. Everyone is impacted by mental health. Groups offer support and can help to gain clarity in understanding why anxiety or depression continues to have an impact. It could help you begin to understand how approaches to others and in relationships may be having and impact and help think about ways to change it. they help locate and highlight the unique you.
